Our association was formed on April 26th
2008 in order to come together to work on
beautifying, restoring and preserving our
homes in the historic Strathglass Park in
Rumford Maine.
This site is for both those interested in the
history of this beautifully designed
community and for the residents of the park
to stay connected. Please feel free to see
what we have been doing and what we
would like to accomplish.

I have found a company that sells solar lights in
large sizes and many different styles. This would
be an option for refurbishing our gates and would
also be environmentally friendly as well as
economical. Please have a look at the website of
the company that provides them and let us know
what you think about this idea!
They also make street post lights and the such
and I think it would be lovely at some point in the
pines.
Solar Illuminations
There is also another company that I found as well
that sells a light in the late 19th century style that
claims it will stay lit all night.
The Green Circuit
Below is a rough composite sketch of what our
entry way could look like in the future. We could
also put a sign up like suggested by Gary
Morrison, I attempted to add this to the composite
sketch but my program was not cooperating today.

We now have tee-shirts and other wonderful
products available for purchase just in time for the
Holidays!
A percentage of all profits of candle, magazine
and other product sales go directly into our funds to
cover costs of the association and to go towards
projects in the park such as our neighbor hood
watch program and maintaining the common walk
ways and greenery.
